Monica Landry is a bookkeeper who has lived in New Orleans her whole life. Monica will use her $15,000 8thDegree.org loan to purchase hardware and software and market her business. She says that she would not be able to expand her business without an 8thDegree.org loan.

Dale Simmons Dale Simmons, a 30-year New Orleans resident, started a small truck delivery service business, Advantage Cargo, with his wife and son in 2005. He will use his $15,000 8th Degree loan to expand his trucking services to include delivery of materials for rebuilding the levees.

Otis McDonald owns A D Cleaning Services, a commercial and residential cleaning company. He will use his $15,000 8th Degree loan to purchase new machinery to expand the types of cleaning services he can offer.

Kim Loan Cao is the owner of Phuoc Loc Supermarket in New Orleans East. She will use her $15,000 loan to increase her inventory of Asian and Latino foods.
